Josie Corso, founder

Sharing the joy of our cultural diversity

As a world traveler with exposure to dozens of culture, Canadian teacher Josie Corso has been fortunate to work in communities that are rich in culture and diversity.

Teaching early childhood education, Josie had tried and failed on many occasions to purchase realistic doll clothing to promote multiculturalism, inclusiveness, and racial diversity.

Recognizing that parents were looking for doll clothing that represented their cultures, Josie formed My World Ethnic Doll Clothing to create baby doll fashions that truly reflect the clothing worn by people in our communities who we see every day dressed in traditional cultural clothing.

Josie found beautiful baby dolls with a variety of realistic skin tones from JC Toys Group Inc. and studied the clothing worn by different ethnic groups to design a beautiful collection of realistic apparel for baby dolls.

Josie recalls that when she gave a doll dressed in a hijab to one of the girls in her class, the girl exclaimed, "Wow, a princess!"

Share in the joy of our cultural diversity with baby doll outfits from My World Ethnic Doll Clothing, and let your kids know that princesses can be from any culture and dress in any way.
